Background
In collaboration with the Malawi Government's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Gender, Community Development, and Social Welfare, UN Women, with funding from the Irish Embassy, has initiated the Malawi Girls Can Code (MGCC) project. This project aims to train and empower girls aged 14 to 25 across Malawi in computer programming, design, and entrepreneurship. By promoting gender-balanced access to technology, MGCC has the potential to foster economic development for women, girls, and the country as a whole.
